001 PodRant – Change You Can Believe In

Trying to deposit change at the bank is a living nightmare. Try to find a bank that will accept unrolled change! Here is my take on this ridiculous state of affairs.

This SNL spoof from the 90′s about the “First CitiWide Change Bank” is more like it. Oh, and by the way, I heard the sponsor of this ad was … Bank of America, who, by the way is my own bank.

POSTSCRIPT ON THIS STORY: I just came from the bank, where the teller looked quite sour and told me she isn’t supposed to take my unwrapped $3 in quarters. Well, what am I supposed to do? I asked. Her response, “Wait until you have enough to wrap them.” AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH

But … it … is … money. And I want to deposit MONEY into my account. At any rate, seeing that I might cause a scene (and perhaps because I already told her I posted a video to YouTube about this), she reluctantly told me that if she was busy, she wouldn’t do it, but would break the rule for me. NO MORE BANK BAILOUTS!

002 PodRant – Phone-o-phobia

Trying to save money on phones and still find one that works is like finding a needle in a haystack. Good grief – I long for the days when a phone’s best quality was that it was … a phone.

003 PodRant: Moonbeams and Butterflies

I’m a bit upset with the Arctic ocean melting when it’s freezing in Florida! And I think bombing the moon may have made it all worse!
